Some days are glorious. Others, not so much.
When you have a moment when you realize you're having a bad day, it can be gift to be aware, knowing that this too shall pass. You can breathe in and out. You can sit with your difficulty.
Is your inner monologue being a supportive friend? Can you be kind and loving to yourself? Once you've stopped and noticed, this becomes possible.
Give yourself a hug.
Try it: reach your arms wide, like a T, and then wrap them around yourself. Close your eyes, and think about how hard you've been trying to live a good life.
Embrace each moment, even a bad one.
