The first time you got on a bike, how many miles did you ride?

When you first learned how to write, what genre of novel did you create?

These are of course silly questions, because we know that it takes time to learn these skills. Meditation is no different.

When you start learning anything worthwhile, you spend a lot of time trying and re-trying things. “Failure” is not viewed as failure, it’s a part of learning. After much practice, you reach a point where you no longer have to think about each step. That’s when a whole new level of learning begins.

Give it some time, and effort.
