We all know what’s good for us.
We also know what’s not so good.
Some foods, drinks, or activities lift us up and make us stronger, more alert, and more fulfilled. Others may provide a brief boost but we know that in the long run they make us feel worse.
Knowing the difference is easy. Choosing well, not so much.
Rather than choosing one or the other, it may help to simply change the order in which we do things. For example, if we first eat the healthy ingredients, we may end being less hungry by the time we get to what doesn’t nurture us. We’re not denying ourselves anything, we simply start by taking good care.
Choose goodness first.
