Breathe with the belly
What can you do when your mind is firing on all cylinders during meditation?
Sometimes, during meditation, your mind is firing on all cylinders.
One thought after another interrupts your meditation practice.
Some of these thoughts may even cause anxiety.
When your regular toolbox of techniques like paying attention to the breath stops working, you can go a little deeper.
As you breathe in an out, start paying attention to the belly. Move the center of your breathing down, and breathe more deeply.
The belly is steady and grounded, and slowly, the mind will follow its lead.
